On Saturday night, 04/11/2009, TRAX conducted an investigation of the desecrated cemetary located behind the co-founders' home. This area lies in the middle of a mobile home park. At some time in the past, a church once stood in this area, with a church cemetary, but it is unclear if the church was simply torn down or destroyed or when this happened, or even for certain how old the now long gone church was.
At some point, someone bulldozed the headstones into a gulley that leads up towards the co-founders home, thereby destroying and desecrating the area. There have been numerous reports of various paranormal activity in this area, from sounds of someone running through a home when no one was there, to being awakened by a voice speaking in someone's ear, and other such anomalous events.
Efforts have been made by the co-founder and her husband to try and track what little information they can glean from the destroyed headstones through websites such as FindAGrave, with no success so far. Certainly, there must be some living descendant of someone from that cemetary, but to date, none have been found.
We set up our IR cameras, organized our equipment, and began a live stream investigation of the area. We conducted several EVP sessions, took numerous photos, and worked the area for approximately four hours.
A few photos contained orbs, which cannot be solely relied upon as physical evidence for paranormal activity due to the probability of the orbs being explainable as air moisture or some minor dust. It does need to be noted, however, that the temperature ranged from 47 degrees at the beginning of our investigation, to 41 degrees when we ended it, and there were no insects seen at that time. Another photo seems to have at least two faces in it located in a bushy area, it could be matrixing but the pictures were interesting.
We did obtain several EVP's, which have been uploaded to the EVP page. One EVP in particular was captured on two different recorders, a "NO" spoken over my voice close to the beginning of our last EVP session. While hard to separate out due to it being spoken right over my voice, having it heard on two different recorders lends greater credence to this EVP. There were several other EVP's that came across fairly clear. The EMF meters, however, did not go off, therefore the only validation we have at this time for any paranormal activity are the EVP's and the personal experience of possibly having sighted a shadow figure three different times during the investigation.
No definitive conclusion can be made at this time as to whether or not the area is extensively active with paranormal activity. However, since it is many times difficult to obtain any EVP's during an investigation, this may be an indicator that future investigations might capture better evidence.
