Why anyone would even read this is beyond me...

but if you are bored enough to slog through, then read on!

The first picture is, of course, me as a child.  The next one is my one and only glamour shot, gotta luv makeup and special effects!

The next one is a picture of me about twelve to thirteen years ago, and the last one is a tongue in cheek self pic taken a couple of years ago at a studio I managed.

This inset one was taken a couple of decades ago, I prefer not to think back that far, it might burn out the few brain cells I have left! The man with me was my second husband ... obviously since I am a single mom now, that means we are no longer married.

I was born in Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. My dad re-enlisted in the Navy when I was still a baby, and we were transferred to Charleston, S.C., where I spent the first ten years of my life.

I've lived in Woodbury, NJ, Philadelphia, PA, Newport, RI, Reynolds, GA, New Orleans, LA, and even Seiling, OK in my lifetime. I have been to Germany, as well, and loved it. When I worked as a medical researcher for a time, I was fortunate enough to get to fly to New York, Florida, and even California.

It's been a very interesting life so far!

I've had my share of hard times, but I suppose no more than anyone else. It's all part of living, and learning, and growing.

Spiritually, it's been interesting, as well. From a bible thumping Christian to studying Wicca, and beyond, there isn't much I haven't at least read about, if not practiced.  I have yet to find any one 'system' of beliefs that feels like a good fit for me, so for now, I am still searching. I do believe in God, I believe Jesus lived, and I believe strongly in an afterlife.

For now, I manage a portrait studio, have done so for the past three years. Whether I will still be there in a day, a week, or even a year remains to be seen, but for now, that is my little niche in the world.
